Durian Market Outlook
Durian is known as the King of fruits and is the most highly prized fruit in Southeast Asia. It is a large edible fruit which is majorly cultivated in Indonesia, The Philippines, Malaysia, and southern Thailand. These countries also do export to other countries. The fruit has a mild sweet flavor but also have a pungent odor and the global durian market is in huge demand. The pulp which resembles in texture as a custard-like pulp, is eaten at various stages of ripening and used in a variety of sweet and savory dishes.
The seeds of the fruit are also eaten when roasted in form of snacks. Due to its exquisite taste and flavor, it is highly favored in Asian countries, but due to its distinctive odor, it is less popular in Western countries for making cuisines. It can be difficult, digging out your keys or wallet when your hands are full. Well, if an experimental new 3D-printed smart ring reaches production, such digging may no longer be necessary.
The metal ring is currently being developed by scientists from Germany s Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology, as part of the larger Kinematam project.
It contains a passive RFID (radio frequency identification) tag which gets wirelessly powered up by an electromagnetic pulse from a separate reader device. The tag proceeds to transmit a radio signal to that device, containing data such as a user-distinct passcode. Because the tag is powered as needed by the reader, it requires no onboard power source such as a battery.

On March 22, 2021, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken authorized sanctions against Wang Junzheng, the secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Committee of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), and Chen Mingguo, director of the Xinjiang Public Security Bureau (XPSB). These sanctions, Blinken said, have been put in place against Wang Junzheng and Chen Mingguo because they are accused of being party to “genocide and crimes against humanity in Xinjiang.” The U.S. Treasury Department followed suit with its own sanctions.
