Year Ender-2020: Report on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) pmaymis.gov.in Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) on 20th November 2016 with an aim of providing housing for all in rural areas. On the 20th of last month, the scheme completed four years.  Addressing a public meeting in Agra after launching the rural housing scheme Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the Government wants every Indian to have a house by 2022 and PMAY-Gramin will benefit the working class, farmers and the deprived. Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin has immensely benefited the rural population.
