New Delhi: The free LPG connection scheme is one structural reform of the Modi government that has been internationally acclaimed for ridding indoor household pollution and improving women s health. And now, the government plans to give one crore more free LPG connections to the needy over the next two years and make it easier to access cooking gas to achieve near 100 per cent penetration of the clean fuel in the country.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release financial assistance of around Rs. 2691 crores to 6.1 lakh beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) on Wednesday at 12 noon via video conferencing.
Union Rural Development Minister and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on the occasion. The assistance would include the release of the first instalment to 5.30 lakh beneficiaries and second instalment to 80,000 beneficiaries who have already availed the first instalment of assistance under PMAY-G.

New Delhi, Jan 20 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday released financial aid of Rs 2,691 crore to 6.10 lakh beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G).
The Prime Minister released the amount through video-conferencing during an event attended by Union Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The assistance would include first instalment to 5.30 lakh beneficiaries and second instalment to 80,000 others who have already availed of the first instalment under the PMAY-G.
After releasing the financial assistance, the Prime Minister said the scheme is going to change the fortune of people residing in villages in the coming days.
