A man who was caught driving while disqualified for the tenth time said he did it because he wanted to catch some fish. Leon Christopher McGuire, 57, was caught behind the wheel at 1.30am earlier this year. At the time of the offence, McGuire was living at a friend’s property in a caravan in rural Marlborough, near the Wairau Bar.
