The CM said his government would move the Supreme Court and urge it to declare the disputed area as a Union Territory as long the case is in court. The Maharashtra CM held a meeting with the High Power Committee constituted for the border dispute with Karnataka.

Thousands of farmers, who have been camping at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan, will march to Raj Bhavan to register their protest against the farm’s laws. The march is part of the agitation being undertaken under the banner of Samyukt Shetkari Kamgar Morcha (SSKM) and aims to intensify the farmers’ struggle in the main capital cities across all states.

Condemning Thackeray s statement, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar said that “not an inch of Karnataka s land can go to Maharashtra”.
