Mumbai: The Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra has fallen flat on its face with the Bombay High Court staying the allotment of salt pan land in Kanjurmarg area of Mumbai for the construction of an integrated Metro car shed, the BJP said on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, BJP leader Atul Bhatkhalkar said the metro car shed project had been transferred to Kanjurmarg from Aarey Colony, a prominent green lung of the city, by the Shiv Sena-led government with the only motive to settle a political score with the BJP .

Maharashtra government launches business incubation centre
The centre will encourage more and more people to join entrepreneurship, and the MIDC is will shoulder all expenses related to the incubation centre

With an aim to make it easier for entrepreneurs to start a business in Maharashtra, the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray-led government has launched a business incubator centre in the state.
Maharashtra s Minister for Industries and Mining Subhash Desai said this is a new innovative step taken by the government. The centre will encourage more and more people to join entrepreneurship. The MIDC is going to shoulder all expenses related to the incubation centre, Hindu Business line quoted Desai as saying.

MUMBAI: Zee Group on Friday (December 11) donated a 300 plus bed Dedicated COVID Health Centre (DCHC) for frontline workers and their families to Thane Municipal Corporation.
The health centre, set up at Borivade ground in Thane, was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. MD Punit Goenka were present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Punit Goenka, Managing Director and CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), thanked the Maharashtra government and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray.
