Hyderabad, Dec 30 : Telangana s Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K.T. Rama Rao has urged the Centre to allocate funds in the Union Budget 2021-22 for various municipal projects in the state.
He has written letters to Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardip Singh Puri and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman requesting funds for the Strategic Nala Development Plan (SNDP), developing a sewer network infrastructure for liquid waste collection in Hyderabad Urban Agglomeration (HUA) area, a Metro Net Project in Warangal, and solid waste

The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MAHA-METRO) has invited fresh proposals and bids to install 5 MW rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects in the Pune Metro Rail Project, Mercom India
This initiative will be carried out under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model, wherein the developer will own the solar project and the consumer will pay for the energy generation.
The interested parties are required to pay around Rs 8,90,000 as a bid security amount whereas the successful bidder will have to pay almost Rs 1.79 crore as the deposit for performance security. Moreover, the latter is obligated to comprehensively look after the maintenance services of the initiative for 25 years.
