Dharavi reports seven new coronavirus cases, tally climbs to 3,806

Dharavi reported seven new coronavirus cases on Wednesday. The total number of positive cases in the area have reached 3,806.
Dharavi, the largest small scale industry in Asia, currently hosts 17 active cases, whereas 3,477 persons have recovered so far.
On the other hand,
Dadar reported 10 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases in the area is now pitched at 4,779, while the number of active cases stands at 91. At least 4,515 patients have recovered in the region.
On December 26, not a single COVID-19 case was reported from Dadar.

The CBI is also using advanced mobile forensic equipment for analysis of the dump data of the relevant cell tower locations related to the case, it further stated.
In a detailed reply to Swamy, CBI, in a letter dated December 30, said that the CBI is investigating thoroughly and professionally using the latest scientific techniques. It also stated that during the investigation, all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date.

Nagpur: Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Monday said whoever speaks against policies or leaders of the BJP is facing action by the Central agencies, a day after it came to light that the ED had summoned Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut s wife in the PMC Bank money laundering case on December 29.

Speaking to reporters here, the senior NCP leader also said that the use of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for political purposes had never happened in Maharashtra.

It has been months since the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case of Sushant Singh Rajput s death. The actor was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Recently, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh demanded that CBI reveal the findings of its probe. Now, actor Rhea Chakraborty s lawyer has backed the Home Minister’s statement.
“I welcome the Statement of Shri Anil Deshmukh, HM Govt of Maharashtra calling for the CBI to make the report public in the case of Death of Sushant Singh Rajput,” Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in his statement.
