A Special Investigation Team has been formed to probe the death of Independent Lok Sabha MP Mohan Delkar, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Desmukh said in the assembly today. Mr Delkar, a father of two, was found dead in a hotel on Mumbai s Marine Drive last month. The Mumbai police said the postmortem investigation has confirmed death by hanging and a suicide note had been found in the hotel room.

Mumbai: Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis has once again targetted the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in the state over the alleged connection of police officer and former Shiv Sena leader Sachin Vaze with Mansukh Hiren, the owner of an SUV that was found near the residence of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani. Hiren, who was a key link in the matter was found dead in a Mumbai suburb days ago.
