CONNECTICUT - Monday marks eight years since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
On Dec. 14, 2012, 20 first-graders and six educators were shot and killed by Adam Lanza, 20. Before the school shooting, Lanza shot his mother to death at their Newtown home. He killed himself as police arrived at the school.
The tragedy will reportedly be marked by a virtual interfaith service that was moved online because of concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
Fortin said he expects provinces to increase the number of delivery sites capable of receiving vaccine shipments in the coming days. When we re at full speed, we re probably going to have a couple of hundred sites for Pfizer-BioNTech product. Once the doses arrive, provinces will administer the vaccine to people in priority population groups, including front-line health-care workers, as well as residents and employees at long-term care homes.
