The restaurant donated 100% of proceeds from all drink orders sold during their soft opening events, and additional proceeds from the sale of specific menu items and online orders for the first month they re-opened after closing at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Humane Society Executive Director Paula Rivadeneira said the organization will use the money to boost their Community Cares Fund, which helps keep pets and their owners together, especially during hard times.

âRight now we are really full. Last night when I check, we were at 137 dogs. So, we are pretty close to max capacity,â said Jenny Luper, director of life saving operations.

WACO, Texas Calling all animal lovers and those who have room in their heart to adopt or foster a pet. The Humane Society of Central Texas, also known as the Waco Animal Shelter, is full again.
According to shelter staffers, every time they get a lot of dogs out, even more come in.
The shelter has about 115 kennels and every single one is full. Now more dogs are being housed in the intake facility.
