Dan Fortin as president and

With the hires, QBE NA said it aims to expand its Management Liability, Professional Liability and Transactional Liability practices.
Fortin, who has nearly 30 years of insurance industry experience, has held a variety of financial lines senior leadership roles at BHSI and CNA Financial during his career. He also was a managing director for Aon Financial Services Group.
Greeley was previously a senior vice president for Executive & Professional Lines at BHSI. Prior to that, he led the financial lines claim group at CNA Financial for more than 10 years. Before joining the insurance industry, Greeley was an attorney in private practice in New York, with a commercial litigation focus representing executives, as well as financial lines insurers. Nehal Modi, brother of Nirav Modi, lied to procure diamonds on credit and pawned them.
New Delhi:
Nehal Modi, a brother of PNB fraud-accused jeweller Nirav Modi and also wanted by the CBI in the same case, has been charged in the United States with defrauding a company of over $1 million worth in diamonds.
Mr Modi allegedly made false representations to obtain more than $2.6 million worth of the gems from LLD Diamonds USA on favorable credit terms and consignment, and then liquidated them for his own ends, according to a December 18 statement from the office of the Manhattan District Attorney, Cy Vance Junior. While he did make some payments to LLD towards the diamonds, he used most of the proceeds from their liquidation for personal use, the statement said.

Father George W. Rutler has stepped aside from his duties as pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Manhattan after a security guard at the church alleged he sexually assaulted her in his office.
The criminal complaint, under investigation by the Manhattan district attorney s office, accuses Father Rutler of watching pornography in the guard s presence.
The incident reportedly took place in Father Rutler s office in the overnight hours of Nov. 4. The priest allegedly attacked the security guard, Ashley Gonzalez, 22, physically and sexually when she attempted to leave the room.
