(WKBT) Two people suffered substantial injuries and three sustained minor injuries when a pickup crossed the centerline and hit two motorcycles at about 5 p.m. Saturday on State Hwy. 35 in Nelson Township, according to the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department. Richard J. Allemann, 52, of Cochrane, Wis., was driving a 2017 Toyota 4-Runner when he fell asleep at the wheel, drifted across the centerline and struck a 2020 Harley-Davidson driven by Andrew R. Petrenko, 30, of Fox Lake, Ill., and a 2016 Harley driven by Jonathan S. Brady, 28, of Ingleside, Ill., at the intersection with State Hwy. 25, according to a sheriff’s department news release issued Tuesday.
