The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announced the launch of a new online service to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine which is expected to open on March 1.
According to a press release, DHS explains this will help connect people with available vaccine and let them know where and when they can get vaccinated. It will also let them schedule an appointment online.
DHS said the registry will be used by those who opt in. DHS clarified in the news release that the registry will not be a comprehensive resource for all vaccination options, since health care systems, pharmacies, and local health departments may already have thei

RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) Health officials are letting the public know of a possible COVID-19 exposure at a business.
The Marathon County Health Department put out a press release Tuesday afternoon about potential COVID-19 exposure at Bella Nails and Spa in mid-January. The release is being put out to identify possible close contacts at the business that could not be found through other means of contact tracing.
An individual who works at the business on 2801 Rib Mountain tested positive for COVID-19 and was working at the nail salon during their infectious period. They worked at the business on Tuesday, January 19th from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 20th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
