The first patient, an 85-year-old female, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 18. The second patient, a 58-year-old female, also died Friday afternoon, Dec. 18. The first patient was a resident of Ector County and was admitted to Medical Center Hospital on Dec. 17. The second patient was a resident of Odessa and was admitted on Nov. 24. Both patients had pre-existing conditions and both families have been notified.
