WASHINGTON, Jan. 25, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), the leading credentialing organization for pharmacy technicians, has named Christopher W. Crank, PharmD, MS, BCPS, and Mark Glasper to the PTCB Board of Governors, effective January 1 and January 18, respectively.

Apprenticeship Connecticut Initiative will be offered for the first time at Asnuntuck this spring. The college and Connecticut Workforce Partners (CWP) have entered into an important agreement which will help qualified candidates receive tuition support for training in healthcare or manufacturing courses.
The agreement has CWP providing funding in pre-apprenticeship and occupation skills training for eligible residents in the college s region. Hudson County Community College (HCCC) has been named the recipient of a one-year, $850,000 investment from the JPMorgan Chase. The investment will be utilized for a program the College developed to address the challenges of the economic crisis in Hudson County that were brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is designed to provide lasting improvement in the County’s workforce ecosystem.
“We are exceedingly grateful to the JPMorgan Chase for funding our ‘Gateway to Innovation’ initiative,” said HCCC President Dr. Chris Reber. “This program is strategically aligned with needs related to the community’s COVID-19 challenges, and the College’s student success and ‘Hudson Helps’ initiatives.”
