Taking note of comments on social media about damaged roads and potholes, Datuk Mohamad Zulkefly Sulaiman (
pic) said it practised a “no wrong door policy”, adding that there were 11 channels where the public could direct their complaints.
“Regardless of whether it is a federal, state or council road, each complaint will be channelled to the relevant party for immediate action, ” said Zulkefly on the department’s Facebook page on Monday.
“We accept all suggestions and constructive criticisms for improvements to be made, ” he said, thanking the JKR district engineers and its social media administrators for their responsiveness towards complaints.
He also thanked netizens and JKR’s strategic partner RakanKKR for providing information on roads.

JKR director-general Datuk Mohamad Zulkefly Sulaiman said they always do their best to monitor the condition of all roads in the country with every complaint received taken as a priority to ensure road users are safe and comfortable.
Zulkefly also said JKR practised a no wrong door policy and there were 11 channels where the public could direct their complaints.
These include the website aduan.jkr.gov.my, via telephone, the Public Complaints Management System (SISPAA) at kkr.spab.gov.my, email at aduan.jkr@1govuc.gov.my/ komunikasi.jkr@1govuc.gov.my, the media, physically at JKR offices, the Public Complaints Bureau at pcb.spab.gov.my or via its app, letters, or the Malaysia Government Call Centre (MyGCC).

Kuala Lumpur: Khairy Jamaluddin has said that the Public Works Department (JKR) should not be paying attention to potholes only because he as a minister was affected by such a pothole, while the government department has since said that the public can lodge complaints about potholes found on roads via any one of its 11 channels.
Following the science, technology and innovation minister’s fall while cycling on a road with a pothole at Kampung Seri Cheeding in Banting, Selangor on December 27 morning, the JKR Kuala Langat had apologised to him the same day, while the pothole was said to have been fixed the next day.
