The Hills Shire Youth Ambassadors, Hayley Irving and Anthony Radic, along with their fellow Youth Army colleagues are getting behind this year’s Clean Up Australia Day event.
The budding environmentalists will join the Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne at Bella Vista Farm on Sunday, March 7 to clean the site.
Hayley, who studies biology and environmental science at university, said Clean Up Australia Day reminds everyone that they are all part of a bigger picture.
“The world will keep spinning long after we’re gone, so it’s our job to take care of it for future generations,” Hayley said.
