Montgomery County s health department will run out of COVID vaccines early next week if it does not get another shipment of first doses from the state soon, commissioners chairwoman Valerie Arkoosh said Wednesday.
The county received just 1,000 doses of the vaccine this week, about 3,500 fewer shots than it received last week, she said. This will allow our clinic to operate through next Monday, she said. That s only because we have vaccine from Monday and Tuesday clinics (which were canceled due to the snow.) If we don t receive more in time for Tuesday, we will not be able to offer vaccinations on that day, or until we receive additional first doses.
