DA: Neighbor facing charges in Norristown murder

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - A Norristown man has been arrested and charged in connection with a murder in November, prosecutors announced Thursday.
According to investigators, Khalif Sinclair, 23, is charged in the murder of Abdur Small, 21, in his Norristown home on Nov. 20. An arrest warrant was issued for Sinclair on Dec. 18 and U.S. Marshals arrested him in Marcus Hook on Jan. 7.
Officers responded to the 500 block of West Lafayette Street for a reported shooting. Arriving officers located Small inside the living room of the residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey spoke out Wednesday about the capital cityâs violent crime and how the DAâs office is responding.
In a post on the Montgomery County District Attorneyâs Office Facebook page, Bailey talks about the 63 lives âpointlessly taken from their familiesâ this year. He also sympathized with those families that will spend Christmas without their loved ones.

SUV crashes into police vehicles responding to wreck on I-45 in The Woodlands area

An allegedly intoxicated driver on early Saturday morning reportedly crashed into police vehicles responding to a wreck on Interstate 45 in south Montgomery County.
After 1:30 a.m., a couple of Shenandoah Police units responded to a vehicular crash on I-45 near the Woodlands Parkway overpass in Oak Ridge North. The officers were there to provide traffic control, according to a City of Shenandoah press release.
