Jan 23, 2021 BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) If you re in need of health insurance, you re in luck. The Massachusetts Health Connector has extended its open enrollment deadline to March 23rd. The Massachusetts Health Connector is the Commonwealth’s health insurance exchange, currently serving more than 300,000 individuals and small-employer members with health and dental insurance. The Health Connector announced its enrollment deadline extension Friday, allowing state residents an additional two months to access affordable, quality health insurance, particularly those hurt by the economic impacts of COVID-19. Massachusetts residents who do not have health insurance from an employer or other entity can use the exchange to gain coverage, the MHC said. Through the ConnectorCare program, income-qualifying residents can access coverage that includes low-cost premiums and co-pays, and no deductibles.
