February 19, 2021 The Citizens and Technology (CAT) Lab, led by J. Nathan Matias, assistant professor of communication in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, recently received nearly $1.3 million in grants to further its citizen science studies on the effects of digital technology on society. The CAT Lab received a $300,000 grant from the MacArthur Foundation in December 2020; earlier this month, the lab was awarded $999,637 from the Templeton World Charity Foundation.
