Learn baby sign language on Zoom through the Wareham Free Library
Wicked Local
WAREHAM - The Wareham Free Library will host Sheryl White of Baby Kneads for a four-week workshop series for parents and caregivers to learn the fundamentals of baby sign language. Each of the 45-minute programs will run via Zoom on Tuesdays in August at 10:30 a.m.
This virtual introductory baby sign language series will give caregivers an opportunity to learn how to reduce frustration and give their babies the ability to communicate before he/she can speak. White will review research and benefits, teach and give you a chance to practice several signs, demonstrate signing to babies, and learn how to teach your baby American Sign Language. This workshop is appropriate for parents and caregivers with pre-verbal children ages four months and up.
