The Waltham Council on Aging is dedicated to the needs and interests of Waltham elders. Board meetings are held at 11:30 a.m. on the third Monday of the month, at the William F. Stanley Senior Center, 488 Main St. No meetings are held in July and August. The main phone number is 781-314-3499.
Free Outdoor Concert Featuring Trio-logy: 6 to 7 p.m. June 17. This group consists of three experienced musicians who are comfortable playing various styles including Swing, Brazilian, Latin and Rock N Roll. The concert will be held in the senior center parking lot. At that time the parking lot will be full shade. Call the center to register. Rain date: June 18.

POST Commission
The Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission is charged with creating a mandatory certification process for police officers, as well as processes for decertification, suspension of certification, or reprimand in the event of certain misconduct.
About us
The POST Commission was established as part of the criminal justice reform enacted in Chapter 253 of the Acts of 2020. By establishing the Commission, the Commonwealth is taking an important step to improve public safety and increase trust between members of law enforcement and the communities they serve.

Men’s Meeting via Zoom: 10:30 a.m. to noon Mondays. The Monday Men’s Meeting is now on Zoom. This is an informal group of men that drink coffee together, chat and enjoy each others’ company. Join the Zoom Men’s Meeting on a computer or by phone. New members are welcome. Contact the COA to sign up.
