TWO men have been charged in connection with a serious sexual assault in Manchester. Brian Jalo, 23, of Sugar Mill Street, Salford and Juan Quinones, 22, of Sarnsfield Close, Manchester, have both been charged with rape. Both men were remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Crown Court on Friday, June 18. At around 9.20pm on Sunday, May 16, police were called to reports of a serious sexual assault which is believed to have occurred at 9pm in Marble Street in Manchester. The woman is currently receiving specialist care and support.

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the death of a dad killed in a car crash.
Police were called to a report of a collision at the junction of Bayley Street and Bridge Street in Stalybridge just after 11pm on Sunday (May 9).
Tragically, and despite paramedics best efforts, Philip Ogden, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene.
David Chorlton, 26, of no fixed abode, has been charged with a number of offences in connection with his death, Greater Manchester Police confirmed today.
