Guardiola said this while expressing his sympathy for Lampard following his sacking by Chelsea.
Lampard was dismissed on Monday by Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, after 18 months in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League clash on Tuesday, Guardiola was quoted by MEN as saying on Monday at his pre-match press conference: “Here, you have to win. People talk about projects and ideas, but it doesn’t exist. You have to win, or you will be sacked.
“I respect the Chelsea decision but a huge hug for Frank, hopefully when the lockdown is over, I can go to a restaurant and see him again.

Asked about Aguero at a press conference, Guardiola said: “Quarantine, isolated – the rules. After nine or 10 days he will be back.”
Guardiola added that forward Raheem Sterling, who also missed the
3-0 victory over Championship Birmingham, was fit but defenders Nathan Ake and Aymeric Laporte were injured. Eric Garcia is still isolating following a positive test for Covid-19.
The visit of Brighton is the first of three home games for City in the space of a week. Victories could pull City firmly in the title picture but Guardiola is not looking beyond Wednesday’s game.

Manager John Yems hailed Crawley’s stunning FA Cup third-round upset of Leeds as “absolutely deserved” as the Sky Bet League Two side celebrated the biggest win in their history.
Second-half goals from Nick Tsaroulla, Ashley Nadesan and Jordan Tunnicliffe secured a memorable 3-0 win over Marcelo Bielsa’s high-profile visitors.
And Yems’ only regret was that the partying would have to take place at home with the current lockdown restrictions.
