CONROE, Texas One worker was electrocuted and another was shocked Thursday during what police are calling an industrial accident at a Lake Conroe resort.
The surviving victim suffered burns to his hands and should recover, according to police. A third worker was nearby but was uninjured.
Police said the crew was performing underground electrical work at the time. The worker who died was leaning into a manhole when something happened, causing electricity to ignite, creating a sound similar to an explosion. The worker who burned his hands was holding wires behind the other worker.
