Styling tweaks for top-of-the-line flagship SUV based on Toyota LandCruiser
Lexus Australia has introduced the 2021 Lexus LX 570 S that brings a light facelift to the Toyota LandCruiser-based flagship luxury SUV ahead of a new-generation series due in 2022.
For now, the 2021 Lexus LX range is topped by a revised Lexus LX 570 S that holds firm at $168,767 plus on-road costs and is readily identified by its redesigned grille and front bumper skirts, as well as two-tone 10-spoke alloy wheels.
The gloss black grille on the LX 570 S uses 70 individual block-mesh inserts instead of the previous grille’s wire mesh.
This is the car many enthusiasts have been waiting for, although it s been rumored for months. And now it s finally here. Presenting the 2022 Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance, a V8-powered Japanese hot-rod sedan that also represents the naturally aspirated engine s final hurrah. In the very near future, this motor will no longer meet emissions requirements, but Lexus wanted to make sure it went out with a bang.
The 2022 Lexus IS 500 is a rear-wheel-drive compact sedan that, in base form, was refreshed for the current model year. Those upgrades inside and out carry over to the V8 model. As the latest member of the F Sport family, the IS 500 joins other NA V8-powered models such as the RC F coupe and the LC coupe and convertible. The engine was previously found in the now-discontinued GS F midsize sedan, and the IS 500 seeks to fill that void. The IS 500 also has the distinction of being the luxury brand s first model in the new F Sport Performance line.
Lexus Australia has upped the ante on its flagship luxury car, bringing in revised features and technology for the arrival of the 2021 Lexus LS. It goes on sale this week.
Two variants continue to make up the range, including the LS 500 and the LS 500h. These are available with either the F Sport or Sports Luxury trim package. All models benefit from dynamic enhancements aimed at improving comfort, quietness and refinement. This is done through software tuning and updates to some components.
The suspension receives alterations to provide an even smoother and more pampering ride, with the Adaptive Variable Suspension welcoming a retuned linear solenoid and larger flow paths for the control valve to reduce damping force. Lexus says changes have been made to enhance comfort while maintaining the car’s dynamic character.
