New Delhi [India], May 31 (ANI): The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday termed media reports suggesting that even a successful booking on the CoWIN platform for a vaccination slot does not assure one of a Covid-19 vaccine jab as "baseless and incorrect" and said they are not supported by full information on the matter.

Panchkula (Haryana) [India], May 21 (ANI): On a similar line as of Mohali in Punjab, the Panchkula administration has initiated Drive-through COVID-19 Vaccination for registered beneficiaries at Parade Ground, Sector 5 on Friday.
Gian Chand Gupta, MLA and Speaker Haryana Vidhan Sabha said that the nation has witnessed a sudden increase in demand for vaccinations. People trust in them more, and this had created a high demand for vaccinations in Panchkula. Therefore we started this initiative. The only condition is that the persons showing up should be registered on the CoWin portal , he added.

GUWAHATI: In order to run all the COVID Vaccination Centres (CVC) people friendly and smoothly, the Health and Family Welfare Department has revised the previous Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Further, all the beneficiaries and the staff of the CVC will be facilitated under the observation of the respective Deputy Commissioners of the state.
All the beneficiaries will be provided necessary services like- sitting facility, sanitation, etc. Also for the welfare of the beneficiaries Rs. 3000 will be utilized daily.
Notably, timely refreshments to all the staff in the CVCs including breakfast/lunch/tea as per the time of the day will be provided.

SOP for COVID Vaccination Centres in Assam: Vaccination against COVID is ongoing in all the districts of Assam, strictly as per the guidelines issued by Government of India from time to time. Further, Assam Government has also procured and distributed vaccine for 18-44 age group in all districts. This order shall come in to force with immediate effect.
