Alan Patrick’s fight with Mason Jones will go down as a no-contest, but he could be feeling its effects for a while.
During a lightweight fight that Jones appeared to be winning at UFC Vegas 28 this past Saturday, Patrick suffered an eye poke two minutes into the second round. He was unable to continue, and the fight was waved off without a victor.
According to the list of medical suspensions acquired by mixedmartialarts.com, Patrick requires clearance on his left eye from an ophthalmologist due to a left eye peri-orbital laceration – or he will be suspended until Dec. 3.
