In an email to athletic directors on Thursday, MHSAA Executive Director Mark Uyl said his organization had been “pushing daily for updated information” from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s office and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on plans for school sports following the expiration of the current emergency orders on Dec. 20. He added the MHSAA apparently “will have information so decisions can be finalized and shared very soon.”
