LANSING, Mich. – Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that her administration is taking action to support Michigan families, restaurants and small businesses among the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Whitmer Administration plans to implement another liquor buyback program for restaurants and bars and partner with Michigan restaurants to allow SNAP benefits for prepared meals. It also announced another $2 million for the Eviction Diversion Program.
As we head into another Michigan winter, I’ll continue to do everything I can to support our families and small businesses.

A Columbus, Ohio real estate firm is proposing to build a low income residential development along the Clinton River in downtown Mount Clemens that would change the look of the city if approved.
Woda Cooper Companies wants to construct Edison Crossing 1 along at 110 Northbound Gratiot, a mostly wooded site between Terry Street and Crocker Boulevard, across the street from Macomb County s parking deck.
The multi-million dollar project be four stories high and contain 30 units.

Lighthouse has wrapped construction on a new low income housing development in Oak Park and the first residents are moving in this month.
The $15.6 million Coolidge Place development is located just north of 8 Mile in the city and features 64 townhome and ranch-style apartments. One, two and three bedroom options are available at the new residential complex, which sits on a 4.5-acre site.
