Law enforcement agencies respond to officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis

(WTXL) â Two law enforcement agencies have confirmed that an officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis Uptown neighborhood is being investigated.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension tweeted that their agents were en route to the shooting scene.
ATF s St. Paul Field Division tweeted that they, too, were responding to the scene in a support capacity to assist investigating agencies.
Minnesota Public Radio reported that the shooting occurred in a parking ramp near West Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue Thursday afternoon.
According to KSTP, the Minneapolis Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff s Office are also at the scene.
The victim of the homicide was identified as 28-year-old Janesa Lashay Harris. At this time, police are still investigating a suspicious death on the 4300 Block of Cooper Avenue South .

(KSTP) - Law enforcement officers shot and killed a person while trying to arrest a fugitive Thursday afternoon at a parking ramp in the Uptown area of Minneapolis.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, around 2:10 p.m. near West Lake Street and Fremont Avenue South, members of a task force tried to arrest a person wanted on a state warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
During the encounter, the suspect, who was in a parked car, was uncooperative and produced a handgun, the USMS said. The officers then shot at the suspect. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but medics pronounced the suspect dead at the scene.
