YANGON: Myanmar's ousted civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi is to appear in court on Monday, after one of the country's bloodiest days since the Feb 1 coup.
The developments were the latest setback to hopes of resolving the crisis that started with the military’s Feb. 1 seizure of power that ousted the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi. The United Nations said at least 138 peaceful protesters have been killed since the coup.
