Broward School District Bringing COVID Vaccine to Campuses Starting Tuesday
Starting Tuesday, the Broward County School District will offer the COVID-19 vaccine at all of its high school campuses over an eight-day span, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
The vaccine will be administered by the county s health department on a walk-up basis, officials said.

Similar measures have been announced by some private institutions
On Thursday, 10-campus University of California and the 23-campus California State University announced they will require vaccines for students on campus
Others public or state Universities in New York, Maryland and Rhode Island have also announced the requirement, as many launch vaccination blitzes
Non-vaccinated UC students will be barred from in-person access to campus

The Pfizer vaccine is available at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on a first-come, first-serve basis. No appointment is necessary.
