Officials urge people to continue taking safety precautions a little longer as they work to roll out the COVID-19 vaccine.   MILWAUKEE, WI – Today, Milwaukee County, and partner Imagine MKE, announced recipients of pandemic relief aid for art and culture organizations. The announcement comes after last month’s action by the County Board to authorize an allocation of $700,000 in CARES Act funding for arts and culture organizations adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. “The cultural and creative sectors of our County are important in terms of their economic impact and their employment, but they also spur innovation, contribute to the positive impact and marketing of the region, and make Milwaukee County a unique place to live, work, and play.
