5 MINUTES OF FAME premiering tonight – Thursday 13 May 2021 – at 8.30 PM.
Hosted by Turanga Merito with judges Pere Wihongi and Bella Kalolo, the series is unique as two vocalists compete against each other in one of four categories per episode – teen, female, male and group. There are eight performances per heat and a total of six heats; only four category winners per heat progress to the quarter finals.

After 18 months, Broadway is returning to Lincoln. After postponing the 2020-21 season, the Lied Center for Performing Arts is ready to welcome nine Broadway musicals back on stage.
In a season announcement party Tuesday evening, the Lied Centerâs executive director Bill Stephan, associate director of marketing and patron development Matthew Boring and communications manager Lauren Durban revealed the shows theatre-goers can look forward to as part of the 2021-22 Glenn Korff Broadway Series, including âCharlie and the Chocolate Factory,â âCome From Away,â and âOklahoma!âÂ
âThis upcoming season, we have the biggest Broadway season in our history, with more Broadway shows than in any other past year,â Stephan said. âWe canât wait to have the big tours back with giant sets, dancers filling the stage and the big production numbers that make you jump to your feet with joy.â
