Norwich Norwich Human Services, public schools and the Rose City Senior Center are assisting residents age 75 and over to register for COVID-19 vaccines and register for appointments at the senior center.
Residents age 75 and older can call the Rose City Senior Center at (860) 889-5960 on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 25 and 26, to schedule appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 26 and 27.
“Many people do not have any idea on how the vaccination process will work and what they need to do to be registered,” Lee-Ann Gomes, director of Norwich Human Services said. “We want to have an all-out effort to educate our residents and assist them in any way possible.”

New London Yale New Haven Health will begin vaccinating people 75 and older Wednesday, including at sites in New London and Old Saybrook.
Those 75 and older the first group in the state’s Phase 1b can make appointments on a first-come, first-served basis by visiting ynhhs.org/covidvaccine. The New London site is the L+M Multispecialty Center, 194 Howard St., while the Old Saybrook site is the Old Saybrook Medical Center, 633 Middlesex Turnpike. Sites in North Haven and Trumbull also will open next week, and a Greenwich site will open the week of Jan. 25.
Yale New Haven Health will add more sites as they are approved. Vaccinations only will be given to those who have an appointment.
