Authorities are racing to identify potential Covid-19 exposure sites after a doctor tested positive to the virus, plunging a major hospital into lockdown.
The junior medic at Brisbane s Princess Alexandra Hospital was infectious while out in the community on Thursday, though his exact movements are not yet clear.
The doctor had treated a patient with the ultra-infectious UK variant of the virus and returned a positive result on Friday.
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young will likely provide further details about the case and places he visited on Saturday.

This morning, a jury cleared Tariq Bhatti of being responsible for the fatal accident following a trial at Teesside Crown Court. The 63-year-old, of Thames Avenue, Thornaby, had always strenuously denied the charge. Mr Meir was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the collision at around 9.10pm on Norton Road at the junction with Trent Street, involving a Skoda Fabia and a Honda VFR 400cc motorcycle. A predator has admitted responsibility for a nightmarish assault on a 12-year-old schoolgirl - giving her the drug ice and raping her after luring the child into his car during the school holidays.
Brett James Callaghan, 38, faces up to 20 years imprisonment after pleading guilty to charges of aggravated sexual assault and supplying a prohibited drug to a child at a western Sydney court on Thursday.
Callaghan drove the schoolgirl from a Thornleigh park, in the city s north-west, to his parents acreage in Dural about 3.30pm on April 28 last year.
