Cleveland Police said the Nissan vehicle reportedly failed to stop for Stockton neighbourhood officers on Tuesday evening. Following a short pursuit, the vehicle reportedly crashed on Palmerston Court in Thornaby. A13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and has been released pending enquiries. The vehicle was seized for having no insurance. Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 071077. In a separate incident, Cleveland Police said it seized another vehicle in Hartlepool at the weekend. A Saab vehicle was stopped on Raby Road and a large amount of class A drugs and drugs paraphernalia was seized.
