Today s episode of
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier picks up six years ago in Wakanda, where we find Ayo reciting HYDRA s code words to Bucky as he sits by a campfire. He s not convinced it will work but breaks down when he manages to hear all of them without becoming the Winter Soldier again. In the present day, he and Ayo talk, and she reminds him of everything Zemo has done. Giving him eight hours until the Dora Milaje will come for the man who murdered King T Chaka, he returns to Zemo s apartment and fills him and Sam in on what s happening.Â

Episode four of Marvel’s
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was all about contrasting viewpoints, mainly from two people neither of which were the Falcon or the Winter Soldier who represent factions on a collision course for possible war. The people I’m referring to are Flag-Smasher leader Karli (Erin Kellyman) and the new Captain America, John Walker (Wyatt Russell). You see, the latest episode of Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is called “The Whole World Is Watching,” a title that refers to both of them by the end. John Walker s Captain America has been taken down the dark path we were expecting, and it feels like the stage has been set for him to become U.S. Agent (who he ll work for is hard to say). You can find more details on what went down in our recap, but Marvel Studios has now released the first batch of official images from The Whole World Is Watching.
As you might expect, Cap receives the vast majority of the spotlight, though we also get to see Sharon Carter in Madripoor. She s definitely up to something, and while it doesn t appear that she

Episode 4, titled “The Whole World Is Watching,” opened with a flashback to Wakanda, six years ago, where Ayo led Bucky through some sort of ritual that rid him of Zemo’s control forever. Cut to “now” and that alleyway in Latvia, where Ayo cannot understand why, after all the time and resources Wakanda invested in helping Bucky, he has now freed Zemo. “We need him,” Bucky explains, and Ayo agrees to give him eight hours with T’Chaka’s killer “and then we come for him.”

John Walker not only
thinks he knows what he is doing, but he also inserts himself in situations that do not need his attention or abilities so, you know, like a white man. This week’s episode of

The last we saw of Sam, Bucky, and Baron Zemo, they were leaving Madripoor and heading to where they believed Karli Morgenthau would be after the death of Donya Madani. The first we see of them in this episode, Bucky is still having a conversation with Ayo about Zemo and buys them a little bit of time to find out some more information on Karli and her whereabouts before the Dora Milaje come for Zemo.
