Duties
Maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules in accordance to the SLA for all equipment and services.
Create Quality Cards and sample jobs across.
Monitor the execution of work and implement corrective measures on deviations.
Ensure Quality Cards are completed after proper inspection has been carried out.
Attach relevant documentation into SAP.
To manage maintenance on client equipment.
Strive for continuous improvement (cost saving and improved service delivery)
Be a liaison between technical staff, client and management
Undertake other related assignments assigned to by the Engineering Manager or Operations
Report writing skills.
Deliver clients’ needs punctually
Communicate (honest) progress and unusual observations to the client
Give feedback to the client
Resolve complaints and queries effectively
Ensure punctual and professional presentation of results and general correspondence
Adhere to instructions from supervisors and seniors
Identify and report misconduct to management
Adhere to approved procedures
Record/ process data and check that they make sense, for accuracy and correctness, inconsistencies, and correct client and reference details
Report dubious data
Filling of relevant documentation
Communicating – email/fax/post/deliver results to customers efficiently
Ensure efficient execution of services in accordance with approved procedures
Obtain full details of clients and orders/requests

Despite the enormous challenges faced by the matric class of 2020, learners benefitting from the Promaths programme in the East London township of Mdantsane rose to the occasion to record remarkable performances in maths and physical science.
The arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic in South Africa disrupted academic learning on an unprecedented scale, with the hard lockdown introduced in March last year proving to be especially taxing for matrics preparing for their all-important final exams.
Yet as it has done so successfully in previous years, the Promaths programme of the Kutlwanong Centre for Maths, Science and Technology (“Kutlwanong”) was not only able to steer learners through troubled waters , but deliver them exceptional results in these two “gateway” subjects.
