Industry partners to jointly explore the development of a liquefied hydrogen supply infrastructure for Keppel’s data centres in Singapore
Keppel Data Centres Holdings Pte Ltd (Keppel Data Centres), Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (Kawasaki), Linde Gas Singapore Pte Ltd (Linde), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd (MOL) and Vopak LNG Holding B.V (Vopak LNG) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly explore the concept development of a supply infrastructure to bring liquefied hydrogen (LH2) into Singapore to power Keppel’s data centres.

Security Bank Corporation (PSE: SECB) and MUFG Bank, Ltd. (MUFG) celebrate five years of a strategic partnership that have allowed both banks to provide better financial services to Philippine corporate and SME communities.
The partnership, which started in 2016, began with global bank MUFG acquiring a 20% stake in Security Bank for Php 36.9 billion. Since then, the two lenders have capitalized on its partnership by bringing top-notch products and services to customers while enjoying the benefits of continued innovation in financial services.

The new JV brings together DEME Offshore’s marine engineering knowledge and decades of experience in the renewables sector, with the highly specialised marine construction technology of Penta-Ocean. The partners are currently in the process of establishing the Joint Venture company, whereby 51 percent of the shares will be owned by Penta-Ocean and 49 percent by DEME Offshore.
New regulations concerning wind power energy generation at sea, as well as in port and harbour areas, have been introduced in the country and the first wind farm auction round is expected to take place this year.
Japan has ambitious targets to develop 10 GW of offshore wind power by 2030. While the country has very favourable wind conditions, it also has challenging subsoils, which can be a mixture of sand and rocks.
