The calibre of ministers shows Akufo-Addo is ready to cement his legacy -Former TESCON Coordinator

A former Coordinator of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), a student wing of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has expressed optimism over the list of appointees announced by the President last week.
‘General’ Isaac Acheampong said the calibre of nominees assembled by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to serve in his new government shows he is ready to cement his legacy.
“Under His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo, Ghana has been repositioned as a global power in the areas of education, energy and international relations and I know we will see more achievements in the President’s second term,” he noted.
Alhaji Haruna Rafik, a Principal Administrative Assistant at the School of Biomedicals and Allied Health Sciences at the University of Ghana has indicated his readiness to serve the East Gonja Municipality if given the chance as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
Know Francis Asenso-Boakye, Works and Housing Minister-designate LISTEN

Francis Asenso-Boakye is the Minister-designate for Works and Housing. He is a former Deputy Chief of Staff and Political Assistant to His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana.
Francis had for many years served as the Political Assistant to Nana Akufo-Addo, the then-presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
A development planning, project management, and policy specialist and professional, Asenso-Boakye has over 22 years of wide-ranging professional experience in his field. Prior to becoming a key member of the staff at the Presidency, he held positions at the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare (MESW) (as it was then called), Global Media Alliance (GMA), Delta Acquisitions and Development, Delaware, USA, Michigan House of Representatives, Michigan, USA, Ghana Free Zones Board (GFZB), and Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC).
