CURRIE, N.C. (WECT) - Officials at Moores Creek National Battlefield announced on Wednesday that the site will immediately require all employees and visitors to comply with a recent executive order that mandated mask-wearing on federal property.
“Face masks are now required in all park buildings and facilities, including the visitor center,” a news release stated. “Masks are also required on National Park Service-managed lands when physical distancing cannot be maintained, including the battlefield, trails, and picnic area.”
Officials say the park’s visitor center is open but at reduced capacity.
