CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The lockdown has been lifted at the Mecklenburg County jail after a recent spike in COVID-19 cases.
The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office said it completed rapid testing this past weekend of all staff working at Detention Center-Central with a total of 22 staff testing positive from the 768 rapid tests performed.
