On 4/26/21 at 7:56 AM EDT
On Monday night, skywatchers will be able to see the first supermoon of the year as Earth s only natural satellite comes particularly close to us.
The moon on Monday is also called the pink moon based on its American Indian moon name. The Maine
Farmer s Almanac began publishing these names for the months of the year in the 1930s.
It will appear opposite the sun in Earth-based longitude at 11:32 p.m. EDT on April 26, and will continue to look full for around three days at the same time, NASA has said.

Regardless of the technicality behind it, it’s still beautiful to look at, and that’s that what this article is all about.
When to see April’s Full Pink Moon
The full moon reaches its peak at 5:32 on Tuesday morning, 27 April 2021. That said, the view of the full moon on Monday evening is breathtaking. The image above was taken by Nidha Narrandes.
