BALTIMORE COUNTY â Baltimore County is currently in phase 1A of the state s vaccination plan.
On Thursday, Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski visited a vaccination site at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium and talked about how things are going. We have administered more doses than any other jurisdiction in the state of Maryland as of yesterday. Of the over 10,000 we received earlier this week, almost 90 percent of those are already administered.

Baltimore County health officials are inoculating health care workers and first responders with the COVID-19 vaccine at a clinic set up at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
Baltimore County Health Officer Dr. Gregory Branch said the vaccine rollout so far has been fast, efficient and glitch-free. You want to be efficient, effective and accurate, Branch said. You don t want to start haphazardly doing things because when you that, that s when mistakes are made.
It generally takes 10 minutes to get vaccinated in Baltimore County. It s painless, it s quick, it s easy. Follow the directions and you won t have a problem, firefighter Doug Simpkins said.
