OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police Department arrested four men Sunday night. Police say around 8:28 p.m. officers were on foot patrol in the area of 12th street and the Boardwalk. That’s when they say they saw a large group vaping on the boardwalk. Police say they approached the group to tell them vaping on the boardwalk violates a local ordinance.
Ocean City Police Department says as the group began walking away, officers saw one of the men start vaping again. That’s when officers went back up to the group. Police say the man, 19-year-old Brian Everett Anderson of Harrisburg, PA, refused to provide identification and became disorderly. A large crowd began to form around the officers. Police say they tried to arrest Anderson, who resisted before being put into handcuffs.
