Ann Charbonneau

EAST HAVEN — Ann Charbonneau, 62, passed away on February 18, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital, following a brief illness. She was the wife of Michael Hlavna. Born in Waterbury on July 24, 1958, to the late Leo and Audrey (Bradshaw) Charbonneau, she was raised in Watertown, attended local schools and graduated from Sacred Heart High School, class of 1976. Following graduation she attended Stone School of Business in New Haven. She also attended Western Connecticut State University, studying drama and acting, as well as, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. She worked locally for a few years before heading to New York City to pursue an acting career.

Price currently teaches organ, church music, and music theory at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, where he succeeded Raúl Prieto Ramírez. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is coordinator of the Sursa American Organ Competition. Price attended Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, where he received a Bachelor of Music degree and served as organ scholar at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on the Green, Norwalk, Connecticut. Following his undergraduate studies, Price received a Fulbright scholarship to travel to Toulouse, France, where he studied historical and modern performance practices of French organ music. WestConn Nursing Students and Faculty Offer Support to Vaccine Programs

DANBURY — Nursing students and faculty from Western Connecticut State University have joined the vaccination campaign recently to arrest the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic by offering their support to the launch of vaccine administration programs organized by the Nuvance Health system and the Danbury Department of Public Health and Human Services. Nursing Department Chair Dr. Jeanette Lupinacci said WCSU students have volunteered since December at four locations including Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford and Sharon hospitals.  Department faculty and students in the university’s RN-BN and M.S. in nursing programs also responded to a call from Danbury Public Health authorities for support in the city’s vaccination effort.
